Aquaculture does not happen at a desk. The people running farms are out by the ponds, not in front of a spreadsheet, so an ERP that lives on a desktop was never going to fit. Aqualog had to work where the work actually happens.
A complete ERP, on the phone
Aqualog brings the operational side of an aquaculture business into one mobile application. Aditya Aquatic Foods' farming clients use it to see and manage their operations in real time, instead of waiting for reports to travel back and forth.
The technology behind it
We built the app in Flutter, so it delivers a consistent, native-feeling experience on the devices farmers already carry. Behind it sits a Node.js backend with a MySQL database, keeping operational data organised, reliable and ready the moment someone opens the app.
- Flutter for a smooth, cross-platform mobile experience.
- Node.js to power the application's services.
- MySQL to keep operational records structured and dependable.
- Real-time updates, so what farmers see reflects what is happening now.
+30% efficiency
Aqualog delivered a 30% efficiency gain for Aditya Aquatic Foods' farming clients.
Why real-time changes everything
When information arrives late, decisions are made on yesterday's picture. Real-time operational control means problems are spotted sooner, work is coordinated more easily and less time is lost chasing updates. Small gains like these, repeated every day across many farms, are where efficiency really comes from.

“Good software for an industry like aquaculture should feel less like a system and more like a reliable colleague in your pocket.”

What we took away
Aqualog reminded us that the best enterprise software starts with the people using it, not with a features list. Designing for the field first made every later decision easier.
If your team works away from a desk and your tools have not caught up, we would be glad to show you what a focused mobile application could do.
