Here’s the gist

United ECM runs construction projects alongside finance and sales operations, and much of the reporting and admin was manual.

We automated expenses, accounting, financial reporting and the sales CRM using n8n, Zapier and the client’s own tools, and built custom AI agents for construction reporting and project management in ClickUp. Efficiency is up 34%, and construction workflows now run at roughly ten times their earlier throughput.

The Challenge

Construction businesses juggle project delivery, cost control and client sales at the same time, and each depends on accurate records. Records made by hand are slow and easy to get wrong. The business had grown, but the processes behind it hadn’t kept pace.

Three things had to work at once:

Finance had to run faster: manual expenses and accounting slowed month-end, and reports were assembled by hand, so they were late and hard to trust.
Sales needed consistent follow-up: leads were tracked in a way that made follow-up patchy.
Project reporting needed to connect: construction reporting lived in separate tools that didn’t talk to each other.

So we built it

We automated the paperwork so each record is entered once and used everywhere.
